FIRST DAY!!!!! She was so excited and such a big girl. No fear. Made it really easy on Mom. 8/26/10

4 months

8/23/10 Say it ain't so : my baby is 4 months old! It is back to work for Mama next week!

BLACK BEAUTY!

There is a 1st time for everything: Mom bought a stuffed animal for no other reason than her baby wanted it! Cora fell in love at first sight with Black Beauty. She has had him 3 days, and he never leaves her sight. It really is sweet. She kissed him goodbye 3 times before she left him for the 1st time to go to Karen's. Come on over and meet the newest addition to our family!

Starting to sit up

Cate is getting stronger. She loves the Leap frog wheel, her POOH Bear, and black and white book. Cora always says, "she is growing up".

Art Studio

Creative Days Art Studio was a big hit. We went to the Daily doodle session and Cora got her art on. She matched the brushes up with the paint colors, fed the guinea pig, made a necklace, fed the guinea pig, painted, fed the guinea pig, cleaned up in the sink her size, fed the guinea pig, played play doh, fed the guinea pig, and then she fed the guinea pig. Needless to say, she was OBSESSED with the guinea pig. His name was Sgt. Pepper.

Pretend Play

This is our school and Cora is the teacher, don't cross her! She loves to spell words and talk on the phone with each and everyone of you that check this blog. Baby sister in the meanwhile has found her feet! She is pretty fired up about that.

Starvin'

16 weeks and starting cereal
still loves her fist. 8/16/10

surprise visit

Great Maw Maw Cora stopped by with Sis after they went shoe shopping! The Coras enjoyed reading some of our library books. Cora J loved hearing how Great Maw Maw used to milk cows and squirt some of the milk into a cat's mouth :)

STATE FAIR 2010

So many things to do, so little time!

You name it, we saw it. Well, as much as we could in 2.5 hours. We were trying to beat the heat, but it beat us by 11 am. We pet and walked a calf, saw a puppet show, colored, talked to a clown, saw a 740 lb. pumpkin, saw a peacock, watched a chick hatch, rode a pony, talked to a car, ate a home cooked lunch and dinner, played with the kids and cooled off in the RV. It was a great day!

Pants

This is what Mommy gets when she tells Cora to put her pants on. Well, her pants ARE ON. Ouy. Mom figures if you can't beat em', JOIN EM'.

Croquet

Aunt Molly's expression said it all: it was HOT!

Paw Paw Duane had the yard all set up for croquet play. Gramma shucked corn and Cora J biked and begged to ride the 4-wheeler. We all had a nice picnic lunch outside, thank goodness there was a breeze!
