Uh Oh Cheerios

Cate has discovered that she can now eat cheerios. She left one for later on her chin!

Jenea's 35th

We were finally all healthy at the same time and the roads were clear, so off to see Great Maw Maw Cora, Maw Maw Carol, and Aunt Sis to celebrate the January birthdays.

As usual, Cora J had the run of the place and Grandmother Cora adored the girls. She said to Sis as she came in the door, "I would get up to greet you, but I am holding my baby!" Love how she loves them and all of us :) She has just got a way about her.

It was the best birthday present a girl could ask for: hanging out with the 3 women that helped pave her path and the 2 little women that now drag her down the path.

9 months old!

Say it isn't so, our Cate is 9 months old! She is the sweetest. Weighing in at 22 pounds. Her new nickname is CHUNKERdoodles.

Cabin Fever

Quite a snow we had. Making us all a little nuts. The girls went a little crazy in their tent. Cate sure is getting around more and stirring up trouble!

Snowed in

Maw Maw Carol came to visit and she got snowed in at our house. So, we did some painting and a lot of playing. Then we took a jog in the snow and caught snow on our tongue.

Snow date

Cora and Mama got out for a little snow date by themselves. The snow did not pack so good for a snowman, but we got it done.

Tutu time!

Cora and Cate's new gig: tutus. As you can see, it is an event. Cora requests I sing the Missouri Fight song as she runs in circles. Her sister watches her and kicks and grins :) My girls.

Getting ready for February

Snow on the ground means CRAFTS, CRAFTS, CRAFTS! We got a head start of making Valentine's today. Cora's theory: When in doubt, add more GLUE!

Nap time

The girls have started taking naps together. Is there anything sweeter?

Standing up!

CAte is 8 1/2 months and standing up holding onto her crib. What a big girl! She can also hold her own wrestling with her sister. She goes for all of Cora's hair!

New House

January is the perfect month to GET CREATIVE! Cora got this house from Aunt Sis for Christmas and she has really had a lot of fun decorating it and playing in it. Cate gets a kick out of seeing Cora go in and out of the doors. Mama had fun too painting tulips on :)

CHocolate Pie

Cora came running in our room early on 1/2/11 saying that she wanted to make Chocolate Pie. So, we had Chocolate Pie for BREAKFAST! YUM! She is quite the little chef!

Sick baby

We spent our New Year's cuddling with Cate. She and Cora both were really yucky. Thank goodness we had a lot of help from Maw Maw Fowler, Maw Maw Smith, and Gramma Smith. Cate was down and out for about 15 days. The other big hit this New Year's was our new Wii Fit. Thanks Maw Maw Linda!
