Art and Party Era

From mid-July through the summer of 2011, Cora got her Art and Party groove on. The kitchen table became packed with paint, glitter, stickers, markers, you name it. She also loved to go in the pantry and start party planning. She would set the table, get special drinks made, and then decorate with whatever she could find. She made a MESS.

Cate would just sit back and watch her Sissy create her masterpiece/mess. The real story is that once Cate climbed up into that chair, she could not get out!

Pool side

It took Cate a while to warm up to the pool, but once she did she was off to the races!

Cora discovered the snack bar this summer. She had a bomb pop or popsickle every trip to the pool:) A kid has gotta be a kid!

House Guests

The Finleys moved to Columbia. Here is just one of the many activities the girls did while they stayed with us for a week. It is so nice having them close!

Huss Party

We took a trip to St. Louis on 7/2/11 to celebrate the 4th with friends. It was great to see all the kids and babies together! 7 girls and 2 boys (those poor boys)
